Trudeau’s good luck charms: Modi better pay attention!

PRIME Minister Justin Trudeau has an “Iron Dome” that can ward off any attack. At least that’s what he apparently believes.

“I got these bracelets when I was in three different Hindu temples over the past few months. They’re good luck. Yeah, protection,” Trudeau says in a video posted on X last Saturday.

He adds: “I am not taking them off till they fall off.”

The bracelet is called “kalawa” or “raksha sutra [protection thread]” — “the sacred thread that Hindus tie around their wrist,” notes The Times of India.

“The primary reason for tying a kalawa is to get protection from negative energies and evil forces. It is believed that the sacred thread acts as a shield, protecting the wearer from harm,” it adds.

The National Post pointed out that Trudeau has apparently been wearing them since at least early July as seen in photos.

Perhaps, that is something that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi should take into consideration, eh!
