Two homes, two vehicles damaged in North Surrey shooting

RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) is investigating a shooting that took place in North Surrey on Friday.

On January 2 at approximately 12:30 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 111 Avenue and 160 Street. The complainant who heard the shots fired also advised police that there was a distraught male at the door.  RCMP SPOSU members arrived on scene and located and detained that male. Police located bullet casings and damage to two vehicles and two homes. No injured persons were located.

SPOSU’s General Investigation Unit (GIU) has assumed conduct of this investigation.
