ON Sunday, September 15 at 2:27 p.m., Squamish RCMP responded to a weapons-related incident near Government Road and Garibaldi Way. Two suspects were taken into custody and a victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both suspects remain in custody and the investigation is ongoing.

“This was an isolated incident and there is no active or ongoing threat to the public,” said Staff-Sgt. Kris Clark of the BC RCMP on Monday.
