THE New Westminster Police Department and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service are investigating a single vehicle collision that occurred in the early morning hours of Wednesday at the intersection of Royal Avenue and Stewardson Way.

Officers found a vehicle had driven into a tree and two occupants were transported to a local hospital.

“Officers secured the scene and began collecting evidence,” said Sgt. Justine Thom. “Traffic had to be rerouted for several hours and we appreciate the patience of drivers and residents.”
