Two injured in shooting incident in Surrey

SURREY RCMP are not saying much at this stage about their investigation into a shooting incident in which two people came to a local area hospital on July 8 at about 4 p.m. with non-life-threatening injuries that were consistent with being shot.

Surrey RCMP Cpl. El Sturko told The VOICE on Friday that police won’t be releasing any more information at this time. “But we are making progress in that investigation and it is a very active [investigation],” she added.

Sources told The VOICE that the two individuals were hurt in a drive-by shooting on King George Highway near Colebrook Road overpass.
