The suspects targeted gas stations and fast food establishments

RIDGE Meadows RCMP have arrested two suspects after two separate series of robberies occurred in Maple Ridge.

Throughout April, May and June, police received and responded to multiple reports of robberies targeting gas stations and fast food establishments.

The Ridge Meadows RCMP Street Enforcement Unit’s (SEU) investigation revealed two separate robbery series with suspects operating independently: one in East Maple Ridge and the other in West Maple Ridge. The Ridge Meadows RCMP Specialized Response Team and the Investigative Support Team, along with frontline officers, also contributed to the investigation.

Police reviewed hours of video surveillance, employed covert police techniques and deployed the Integrated Police Dog Service to identify and locate both suspects and obtain search warrants.

On June 16, Ridge Meadows RCMP executed a search warrant leading to the arrest of the suspect who was involved in the East Maple Ridge robbery series. Bryan Miller, 36, of Maple Ridge has been charged with four counts of robbery.

On June 21, Ridge Meadows RCMP executed a search warrant leading to the arrest of the suspect who was involved in the West Maple Ridge robbery series. Bradley Danilkiewicz, 41, of Maple Ridge has been charged with two counts of robbery.
