UNIVERSITY of Toronto is the top university in Canada and No. 20 in the world, according to the prestigious Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings.

Among universities in B.C., UBC comes third in Canada and No. 43 in the world.

Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings rate universities around the world based on research, graduate employment, academic reputation, teaching standards, faculty-student ratios, and number of international students. It’s said to be one of the top three university ranking surveys in the world.
