Canada Royal Arts is donating 1.000 masks for Vancouver citizens

WHILE security measures are still fundamental for our community well-being, masks have a role to play in preventing the spread of COVID-19 because they act as a barrier and help stop the spread of droplets from a person’s mouth and nose when communicating, coughing or sneezing.
The Canadian official website confirms that wearing masks is still recommended for periods of time when it is not possible to consistently maintain a two-metre physical distance from others, particularly in crowded public settings such as stores, shopping areas and public transportation.
Because of this, Canada Royal Arts – an arts-based, creative high school in Vancouver – is donating one thousand masks to our community next Tuesday (June 30). To receive kits containing five disposable masks, interested people should come to the school campus on 896 West 8th Avenue between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Staff will be giving free kits until supplies last.
