ON Friday at approximately 1:30 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of 56 Avenue and King George Boulevard

The preliminary investigation indicates a vehicle crashed into a power pole near this location. BC Hydro is on scene. Power and traffic lights in the area have been impacted.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes and avoid the area if possible.
