Sources tell The VOICE Huberman has decided not to accept Surrey First’s offer to run as mayor. Surrey First has now approached former White Rock mayor Gordon Hogg (who has also been an MP and an MLA) to run for mayor.

THERE are unconfirmed rumours that Anita Huberman, President and CEO of the Surrey Board of Trade, who is known to firmly support keeping the RCMP in Surrey, has been approached by Surrey First to run as their mayoral candidate in Surrey.

We called Huberman on her cell phone number twice and left her messages inquiring about this, but she has yet to get back to us.

The unconfirmed rumours are that former Surrey mayor Dianne Watts approached her to run.
