SURREY RCMP are on scene near Anvil Way and 128 Street, where a scissor lift has made contact with some wires. Surrey Fire and BC Hydro are also responding.

People are asked to avoid the Vaisakhi parade route at this location to allow room for first responders and crews to work.

There have been no injuries reported.
