ON Tuesday, September 17 shortly after 8:15 a.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing that had occurred in the 20300-block of Douglas Crescent. Officers and paramedics located the victim inside a local business. A 26-year-old Langley man was taken to a local area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

“The investigation is in its infancy, however, we believe that this was a targeted and isolated incident. There is no ongoing risk to public safety,” said Cpl. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP.

Police are looking for witnesses and motorists with dash camera footage who happened to be in the area of 20300-block of Douglas between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quote file number 2024-30019.
