BURNABY RCMP are currently investigating a collision involving a pedestrian that has shut down Imperial Street between Hersham Avenue and Humphries Avenue.

The collision occurred at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The pedestrian has been transported to the hospital with what appear to be serious injuries.

Police expect Imperial Street to be closed for several hours into the evening. You are advised to plan an alternate route.
