TWO men have been arrested and are now charged with Criminal Code offences following a Surrey Police Service (SPS) investigation into an alleged shots fired incident in April at a residence where the resident had been the victim of extortion threats.

On April 22 at approximately 12:40 a.m., SPS frontline officers responded to calls of shots fired at a home in the 13400-block of 87A Avenue. Police confirmed damage to the residence and a vehicle. Although the residence was occupied at the time of the shooting; thankfully, no one was injured.

SPS ExRT members executed the warrant on a residence in Surrey with the assistance of the Lower Mainland District Emergency Response Team, Canada Border Services Agency, and other SPS teams. Two men were arrested during the execution of the warrant and are now charged with multiple Criminal Code offences.
