COQUITLAM RCMP partnered with SHARE Family and Community Services to collect a total of 2,360 lbs of food and $2,114.90 in cash donations at two “Cram the Cruiser” events on November 22.

They said: “We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out and helped make a difference in our community.”

“It’s truly heartwarming to see so many people come together to support such a meaningful cause,” said Coquitlam RCMP Media Relations Officer, Acting Sergeant George Han. “We thank everyone who helped bring hope and joy to those who need it most.”

“Cram the Cruiser shows the very best of our Tri-Cities community. We are so grateful to the RCMP in Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam for leading this incredible effort, and to every neighbour who contributed,” said, CEO of SHARE Family and Community Services, Claire MacLean. “Your support will help us bring SHARE Joy to more than 2,000 families this holiday season.”

Coquitlam RCMP officers, city staff from Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam, and RCMP volunteers were stationed at Save-On-Foods (3025 Lougheed Highway, Coquitlam) and Safeway (2850 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam).
