Suspects are 2 South Asian men
SURREY Police Service (SPS) is investigating a shooting that happened just before 6 p.m. on Monday, December 16 that has left two people injured.
Shortly before 6 p.m., Surrey Police Service frontline officers responded to a call from a woman saying that she and her husband had been shot while outside in the 12600-block of 67B Avenue. Fortunately, a young child in their car nearby was unharmed. Both victims have been taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Two suspects, described as South Asian men, were last seen driving away in a dark-coloured sedan.
The investigation is in its early stages and is being supported by RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit Serious Crime Unit and General Investigation Unit officers, as well as Surrey Police Service’s Frontline Investigative Support Team (FLIST).
