SOUTH Asian entrepreneur Daljit Thind, founder and CEO of Thind Properties Ltd., took his kabaddi team, Punjab Thunders, to the World Kabaddi League held in London, England, last week.
He also met star rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who also own kabaddi teams.
The tournament features eight teams: Punjab Thunders; United Singhs; Haryana Focus; California Eagles; Yo Yo Tigers; Vancouver Lions; Speedy Singhs; and Royal Kings.
The venues include London, Birmingham, Dubai, New York, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Vancouver and Toronto, as well as six Indian cities: New Delhi, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Bhatinda, Amritsar and Mohali.
The final will be played in Mohali on December 14.
