Morning service may be affected to and from Surrey stations

TRANSLNK announced on Monday night that maintenance crews are working overnight to resolve a track issue on the SkyBridge that is causing Expo Line delays. Customers travelling to or from Surrey must transfer trains at Scott Road and Columbia stations to continue their journey. Morning service may be affected to and from Surrey stations. 

TransLink said that if morning service is affected, extra bus service will be in place between Scott Road and Columbia stations to assist with passenger volumes. This is in addition to a shuttle train that would run between Scott Road and Columbia stations. Extra staff will also be deployed to Columbia and Scott Road stations to direct customers. 

Service on the Millennium Line, Canada Line, and Production Way segment of the Expo Line are unaffected. 

TransLink said it will provide an update about morning service as soon as it knows.
