Four arrested in Fraser Highway stabbing incident in Langley

FOUR individuals have been arrested by Langley RCMP in Friday’s stabbing incident.

On April 17 at approximately 2:06 p.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 27200-block of Fraser Highway.

Officers located two youths suffering from apparent stab wounds. Both were transported to local hospitals in serious but non life‑threatening condition.

At approximately 4:12 p.m., officers from Langley RCMP’s Special Response Team utilized conventional and sophisticated police techniques which allowed them to arrest three male youths and one adult male in connection with this incident. All four males remain in police custody while investigators continue to gather evidence.

“From the moment this incident was reported, officers acted immediately to locate those responsible,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “This rapid response was the result of coordinated and quick actions of our frontline and specialized units.”
