ON Friday, April 17 at approximately 2:06 p.m., Langley RCMP received a report of a disturbance in the 27200 block of Fraser Highway.

Officers from the Langley RCMP attended the area and located two youths suffering from apparent stab wounds. Both were transported to local hospitals in serious but non‑life‑threatening condition.

“We recognize that two stabbing incidents occurring on consecutive days are understandably concerning for the community,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “Police can confirm that today’s incident is not related to the stabbing reported yesterday. Investigators believe this was a targeted incident, and there is no ongoing risk to the public.”
