THE iconic RCMP Musical Ride is coming to Surrey on June 24 and June 25.
Surrey RCMP are also inviting the public to the annual Surrey RCMP Open House which will run alongside this world-famous demonstration at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds.
The Musical Ride troop will be performing three spectacular shows at the Stetson Bowl at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds at 6050A 176 Street where audiences will have the chance to see riders take part in intricate formations and drills set to music.
Surrey RCMP will also be on site at the Fairgrounds to welcome the community to its annual Open House: a free event featuring hands-on activities, demonstrations, and family fun.
“The Musical Ride is a well-known tradition which is recognized around the world, and we are thrilled to have these skilled RCMP officers and their horses perform in our city,” says Surrey RCMP Assistant Commissioner Brian Edwards. “As we mark the 150th anniversary of the RCMP in Canada today, we are grateful to have the opportunity to hold our annual Open House in conjunction with this incredible display and enduring national symbol of our police force.”
Tickets for the Musical Ride are available in advance online, with proceeds benefitting three local charities: Surrey Hospital Foundation, Surrey Food Bank, and the Cloverdale Community Kitchen.
Children aged 12 and under receive free admission to the Musical Ride, and a free ticket will need to be reserved online for each child attending.
