The 79th Independence Day of India was celebrated at the Consulate General of India in Vancouver. Consul General Masakui Rungsung hoisted the Tiranga and read out the address of Indian President Droupadi Murmu. Among those present at the dignified occasion were members of the Indian Ex-Servicemen Society of British Columbia, leaders of the Indian diaspora and friends of India.
