Jasmit Badesha, 25, of Mission shot and killed in Toronto

TORONTO Police on Wednesday identified Sunday’s homicide victim as Jasmit Badesha, 25, of Mission, B.C., and released a photo of him.

On March 3 at approximately 11:37 p.m., police responded to a call for a shooting in the Bergamot Drive and Rexdale Boulevard area.

It was reported that a man in his 20s had been shot. He was located outside near the parking lot of a residential building. Life-saving measures were performed, however, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Investigators are appealing to witnesses, anyone who has dash-camera or video surveillance, or anyone who has information on the suspect vehicle and occupant(s) at the time of the shooting to contact police.
