ON Saturday, January 24 at approximately 4:31 p.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of an alleged robbery that had occurred at Willowbrook Mall located at 19705 Fraser Highway.

Emergency crews responded to the area and located a youth victim who appeared to have been assaulted with a weapon. The youth was promptly transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries.

“Officers responded quickly to ensure the safety of everyone in the area,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “At this time, there is no ongoing risk to the public as this incident appears to be targeted.”
