ON April 1 at approximately 3:15 a.m., Langley RCMP responded to a residence that was reported to be on fire in the 19900-block of 76 Avenue.

As the Township of Langley Fire Department arrived in the area, a second residence was reported to be on fire in the same neighbourhood. At approximately 5:30 a.m., a third residence was reported to be on fire in the 6900-block of 204 Street.

Police said all three residences were abandoned and were slated for demolition.

“Investigation into these fires is currently ongoing and due to the close proximity to all of these incidents, we are treating this as suspicious in nature,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom.
