ON May 2, the Richmond RCMP Gang Enforcement Team (RGET) with the assistance of Richmond RCMP General Investigation Section executed a search warrant at a residence in Richmond and seized multiple items, including a loaded firearm and a quantity of various illicit drugs.
This investigation was also supported by officers from Richmond RCMP frontline and the Uniformed Gang Enforcement Team of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of BC (CFSEU-UGET).
“I want to thank all of the officers from Richmond RCMP and CFSEU-UGET involved in this investigation. While our work on it is not yet over, knowing these items have been taken off of the streets of Richmond is a win for public safety,” said Chief Superintendent Dave Chauhan, Officer-in-Charge of Richmond RCMP, on Saturday.
