A man was shot on Monday afternoon near Knight Street and 59 Avenue in South Vancouver.
“Police are on scene in the area for a man that was shot. He was taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made,” Constable Tania Visintin told The VOICE.
A neighbour told The VOICE photographer that an Indo-Canadian male was standing in the alley when the gunman approached and shot him. The victim had returned home from the hospital.
A police car was still outside the house at Knight Street and 59 Avenue where the victim lived in a basement suite.
