ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police officers from the Bicycle Patrol and the Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged multiple people for firearm-related and other criminal offences.
On Saturday, May 20, members from 11 Division Bicycle Patrol were actively patrolling a park in the area of Lakeshore Road and Tennyson Avenue in Mississauga. Officers conducted a Liquor Licence Act investigation, which led to the seizure of a loaded Taurus G2C 9mm handgun.
As a result of the investigation, the following persons are alleged to have committed the below mentioned criminal offences.
Ahsan Khan, a 23-year-old man from Oshawa, is charged with the following offences:
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Carry concealed weapon
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of weapon
- Possession of a loaded prohibited firearm
- Tampering with serial number of firearm
- Unauthorized possession of firearm
- Fail to comply with release order
Ahsan Khan was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Mohsin Khan, a 20-year-old man from Oshawa, is charged with the following offences:
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Carry concealed weapon
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of weapon
- Possession of a loaded prohibited firearm
- Tampering with serial number of firearm
- Unauthorized possession of firearm
- Fail to comply with release order
Mohsin Khan was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Hassan Aziz, a 21-year-old man from Bowmanville, is charged with the following offences:
- Fail to comply with release order

Moosa Jogiyat, a 22-year-old man from Toronto, is charged with the following offences:
- Obstruct peace officer
- Fail to comply with release order
Moosa Jogiyat was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Sufyan Jogiyat, a 23-year-old man from Cambridge, is charged with the following offences:
- Obstruct peace officer
Sufyan Jogiyat was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
