Pedestrian killed by train in Langley

ON Thursday, January 8, at approximately 7:55 p.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a train near 206 Street and 98 Avenue.

Officers, along with first responders from the BC Ambulance Service and Township of Langley Fire Department, attended the area and located the individual who had been struck by the train.

“Tragically the individual succumbed to their injuries at the scene,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed this collision is asked to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quote file number 2025-802.
