PNE: Drive-thru fair experience opens this weekend

FOR 110 years, generations of British Columbians have been coming to the PNE Fair as their end-of-summer tradition. Guests who once came with their grandparents, today come with their grandchildren and the smell of frying onions, the screams from the iconic Wooden Coaster, a nighttime show under a Vancouver summer sky, mini donuts and SuperDogs all make up the collective memories of our province.

And so the Pacific National Exhibition presents the 2020 Fair drive-thru experience that will give guests a taste of all their traditional Fair favourites.

“We really wanted to showcase those special PNE memories of great entertainment and bring together British Columbians for their traditional end-of-summer PNE experience that celebrates the best of the PNE Fair,” says PNE Creative Director Patrick Roberge. “SuperDogs, a parade, larger than life dinosaurs, great food and of course agriculture will all be a part of this family-friendly event.”
