Poilievre calls RCMP ‘news and allegations’ of Indian interference ‘extremely concerning’

CONSERVATIVE Leader Pierre Poilievre on Monday in a statement said that the news and allegations from the RCMP of Indian interference are “extremely concerning and must be taken very seriously.”

Poilievre asserted: “Any foreign interference from any country, including India, is unacceptable and must be stopped. Our government’s first job is to keep our citizens safe from foreign threats.

“We expect the full criminal prosecution of anyone and everyone who has threatened, murdered or otherwise harmed Canadian citizens.”

Poilievre then attacked the federal government, stating: “For nine years the Liberal government has failed to keep our people safe or to take national security and foreign interference seriously. Because of that, Canada has become a playground for these activities.”
