RCMP investigating structure fire in Maple Ridge

RIDGE Meadows RCMP said on Monday that they are investigating a structure fire that resulted in the complete loss of a construction site and two single-family homes as well as major damage to a condominium.

On Friday, June 9 at approximately 11:45 p.m., RCMP were notified by Maple Ridge Fire Department (MRFD) of a fire at a construction site in the 22500-block of Brown Avenue in Maple Ridge. Due to the intensity of the fire, it spread to a condominium building north of the fire as well as east and west to two single-family homes.

RCMP said the fire is currently under investigation with support from the MRFD, and no further information is available at this time.
