ON Sunday, November 10 shortly after 4:30 p.m. Richmond RCMP attended the 6100-block of River Road for a collision involving a Gray Dodge Charger and teenaged pedestrian.
The driver of the Dodge Charger was travelling eastbound on River Road when he struck the pedestrian, who was crossing mid-block.
The pedestrian suffered significant injuries and was transported to a local area hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Richmond RCMP Criminal Collision Investigative Team (CCIT) with the assistance of the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS), attended and processed the scene.
The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police. Impairment is not believed to be a factor in this collision.
