ON Monday, September 15, shortly after 12:15 p.m., Richmond RCMP received a report of a possible ordinance located inside an apartment in the 5100-block of Brighouse Way.

Richmond RCMP have engaged the assistance of the BC RCMP Explosives Disposal Unit.

Police have the area contained and are asking the public to remain out of the area.

Richmond RCMP General Investigation Section have conduct of this active and ongoing investigation.

No further information will be provided at this time, police said.
