RIDGE Meadows RCMP are investigating an incident that occurred near a local high school in the 24700-block of Dewdney Trunk Road in Maple Ridge.
On Wednesday, February 5 at approximately 11:57 a.m., Ridge Meadows frontline officers received a report that a male driver was believed to have flashed a weapon at students near the school.
Police learned that there was a verbal altercation between the driver and students. It was reported that the driver had displayed a weapon to the students before returning to his vehicle.
Police have been unable to locate the vehicle, or identify the driver at this time.
Police are looking to speak with the driver of this vehicle.
The vehicle is described as follows:
- Range Rover
- Two-toned Grey
- Black driver’s side quarter panel vent
- Black wheels
The driver is described as follows:
- 5’10
- 175-180 lbs
- Light skinned Middle Eastern male
- Short stubble beard
- Dark coloured short hair
- Wearing a black Mooseknuckle brand jacket with gold trim and black pants
