LANGLEY RCMP are currently on scene in the 7100-block of 208 Street for a serious police incident.

“The police response to this incident is isolated to a residential unit and out of an abundance of caution, the Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team (IERT) has been called to assist with the investigation,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “The investigation is still in its early stages and more information will be made available at a later time.”

The area around 72 Avenue and 208 Street will remain closed while the Langley RCMP continue their investigation. Motorists are being requested to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
