THIS Sunday (April 27) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the City of Langley and the Langley Library are celebrating their first annual Sikh Heritage Month event at Timms Community Centre, 20399 Douglas Crescent.
Everyone is invited to attend this free, drop-in, and open to all program to enjoy a rich cultural experience through a speech on Sikh heritage and culture, live music, turban-tying demonstrations, displays, and traditional food.
Canada celebrates April as Sikh Heritage Month, honouring the contributions of Sikh Canadians to the nation’s cultural, social, and economic life, and to create awareness about the Sikh heritage and culture.
