South Asian male in grave condition after Langley shooting

AT least one of the three males who were shot in a house in Langley on Thursday is South Asian and sources told The VOICE that person is the one who sustained life threatening injuries and remains in grave condition. All three are from Surrey and are known to police.
Langley RCMP Cpl. Holly Largy told The VOICE on Friday that police were not disclosing who the three male victims were at this stage.
The Langley RCMP Serious Crime section is investigating the shooting that took place around 2:20 a.m. on Thursday. Police were called to the 2500-block of 204th Street for multiple reports of shots fired in the Brookswood area.
Three males were transported to hospital. While one male was in grave condition, the other two suffered non-life threatening injuries and one of them was released from hospital on Thursday itself. “These two males have not been overly co-operative with police,” said Largy. “All three victims are known to police. This home is not the primary residence for any of the three males. It is unknown if any vehicles were associated to this incident. Police have no suspects at this time.”
Neighbours told the media that they believed there was a licensed medical marijuana grow-op in the house. Police are believed to be looking into any connection with the Surrey shootings.
