THE City of Surrey has launched the Surrey Bylaw and RCMP Bike Patrol Program.

The program will operate seven days a week throughout the summer and into the fall season throughout the City. Bylaw officers will be working in tandem with Surrey RCMP Bike Patrol members to establish an ongoing presence in community centre areas across Surrey and improve the safety and quality of life in neighborhoods.

This program will be responsible for patrolling designated areas of the neighborhoods on bicycles, identifying problem areas, providing outreach, reporting maintenance issues, interacting with residents and businesses, attending special events and deterring criminal activity.
