Surrey Police Service appeal to help identify stabbing suspect

SURREY Police Service (SPS) is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in an April 11 early morning stabbing that left one person injured.

At approximately 2:43 a.m. on April 11, police were called for an altercation between two men at a Chevron gas station located at 108 Avenue and 132 Street in Surrey. One man allegedly stabbed another man several times before leaving the area on a bicycle in the company of a woman.

The suspect was last seen entering a taxi outside of the Gateway Skytrain Station on the northeast corner of 108 Avenue and University Drive at approximately 2:50 a.m.

The victim suffered several stab wounds, but none were considered serious. He was treated and released from medical care on April 12.

To date, all investigative avenues have been exhausted and police have been unable to identify the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s who was wearing a green camouflage hoodie, blue jeans, a dark coloured jacket, and white shoes. He had a red and orange bicycle and was carrying several blue Walmart shopping bags.

The woman with him is describe as a white female in her 40’s who was wearing a black hoodie with a “TNA” logo, a white ballcap, dark pants, and dark shoes.
