VANCOUVER’S Consulate General of India held a flag-hoisting ceremony on Monday morning to celebrate the 76th Independence Day of India in the presence of Consulate officials and staff members and a group of ex-servicemen from the Indian Ex-Servicemen Society of B.C. Canada.

Consul General Manish read the President of India’s Address to the Nation on the occasion. The event was streamed live on the Consulate General’s Facebook page.
