INDIAN High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma had meetings in Victoria at the British Columbia Legislature with Speaker Raj Chouhan, Brenda Bailey, Minister of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation, Bruce Ralston, Minister for Forests and Minister Responsible for Consular Corps, Jagrup Brar, Minister of State for Trade, Aman Singh, Parliamentary Secretary for the Environment, Harwinder Sandhu, Parliamentary Secretary for Seniors’ Services and Long-Term Care, and MLA Jinny Sims and others.

A range of issues to intensify BC-India engagement were discussed in areas of clean-tech, hydrogen, innovation, agri-tech, and edu-tech. Verma was accompanied by Indian Consul General Manish.
