COQUITLAM RCMP are seeking witnesses and video footage following a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Lougheed Highway at Colony Farm Road, Coquitlam, on Tuesday, August 18.
On August 18, shortly before 11:30 a.m., Coquitlam RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Lougheed Highway and Colony Farm Road. Two individuals sustained injuries and were transported to hospital. As a result of the collision, eastbound Lougheed Highway was closed for an extended period while investigators processed the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
Investigators are asking anyone who was travelling through the area of the collision between 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., or who may have captured dash camera or cellphone video footage, to contact police.
“Two individuals were injured as a result of this collision,” says Constable Ashleigh Daniels, Media Relations Officer for Coquitlam RCMP. “Investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or may have relevant video footage to come forward.”
