2015 Surrey International Children’s Festival school and group tickets on sale November 4

 

Surrey, BC – School and group tickets for the 2015 Surrey International Children’s Festival are on sale November 4, 2014. The 2015 Festival theme is “Art is Everywhere!” which seeks to inspire us all to explore and discover our environment and everyday surroundings from a different point of view – through art.

 

In 2015, the Surrey International Children’s Festival is featuring world-class professional shows from:

 

  • Iceland:  Peter and the Wolf (Figura Theatre), Theatre/Puppetry, Grades K-4
  • Vietnam: Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theatre, Theatre/Puppetry, All Ages
  • Canada (QC):  Bon Débarras, Music, All Ages
  • Canada (BC):  David Bouchard, Literary/Storytelling, Grades K-5
  • Canada (BC):  Music with Marnie, Music/Dance, 6 months-5 years
  • Canada (BC):  The Secret Life of Walter Manny (Trent Arterberry), Theatre/Mime, Grades 1-5
  • Canada (MB): The Street Circus, Circus, All Ages

 

Group (minimum 10 tickets) and school tickets can be purchased now through the Surrey Arts Centre Box Office by calling 604-501-5566. General audience tickets will go on sale April 14, 2015.

 

The Surrey International Children’s Festival is an annual children’s art celebration presented by the City of Surrey. The Festival’s vision is to inspire young hearts and minds to greater possibilities, and celebrate our rich and diverse cultural heritage through performing and visual arts experiences. The Festival programming provides unique educational art opportunities for children. The 11th annual Surrey International Children’s Festival will run from May 21 to 23, 2015 at the Surrey Arts Centre and Bear Creek Park.
