Transit Police seek public’s help in Vancouver sexual assault investigation

METRO Vancouver Transit Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred in Vancouver. Investigators are seeking dashcam footage from motorists who travelled on Stainsbury Avenue between Victoria Drive and Walker Street between 3:30 p.m. to 3:55 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26. They are also looking to speak to anyone who may have been walking in the area during that time.

Anyone who was in the area or who has dashcam video is asked to contact Transit Police by phone at 604-515-8300, or by text at 87.77.77 and quote file number 2026-13363.

Metro Vancouver Transit Police do not believe there is an increased risk to the public. This investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
