NDP Leader John Horgan apologized on radio on Wednesday, but not to the Metro Vancouver mayors he was caught on tape calling cowards. Instead, all John Horgan could muster up was an apology for what he called “being glib”, said the Liberals.
They said Horgan needs to actually apologize to Metro Vancouver Mayors, and he needs to explain:
1. How can municipal leaders in British Columbia take seriously any of his promises to them?
2. If this is how he talks about municipal leaders from Metro Vancouver while he is in Williams Lake, what is he saying about people from the Interior when he is in Metro Vancouver?
3. Who do his comments apply to? Does he think all municipal leaders are cowardly, or just some of them?
