Damage to vehicles and residence in Pitt Meadows shooting

RIDGE Meadows RCMP are investigating a shooting that occurred early in the morning on Sunday in Pitt Meadows.

On November 24 just after 4:30 a.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP frontline officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 18800-block of 122nd Avenue in Pitt Meadows. Officers confirmed that nobody was injured in the incident; however, there was damage to several parked vehicles and a nearby residence.

The Ridge Meadows Investigative Support Team took conduct of the investigation and attended the scene along with the Integrated Forensic Identification Section.

“We are thankful that nobody was injured in this early morning shooting that occurred in a residential area of Pitt Meadows,” said Cpl. Sunny Grewal, acting NCO in charge of the Ridge Meadows Investigative Support Team, on Tuesday. “As this incident is still under investigation, we are asking for anyone who has information to please contact the police.”

Police are seeking witnesses or persons who may have dash camera footage and/or surveillance video from the area. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251 and quote file number 2024-23981.
