Premier Christy Clark released the following statement in recognition of International Women’s Forum Week (Oct. 14-18, 2013):
“For the first time ever, British Columbia has the distinct honour of hosting the International Women’s Forum (IWF). From Oct. 16-18, the International Women’s Forum will draw female leaders from across five continents, with more than 5,000 women participating from 51 nations around the world. The IWF brings together an unprecedented global membership to exchange ideas, to learn and inspire, and to promote better leadership for a changing world.
“On behalf of all British Columbians, I want to welcome participants to Vancouver – a creative hub and the perfect backdrop to inspire an active exchange of ideas and expertise.”
