Kids Play Foundation’s “Fighting Racism” event a grand success

KIDS Play Foundation’s “Fighting Racism” event on Sunday, March 25, at Royal King Banquet Hall in Surrey was a huge success with over 200 guests.

Kids Play Foundation, a non-profit organization working towards keeping youth away from a life style of drugs, gangs, and violence, partnered with Langara College and Kamilla Singh’s Asian Pulse on this important issue.

The panel of speakers – Manny Bahia, Steve Purewal, Annie Ohana and Indira Prahst – shared their knowledge and insight with stories that the audience found to be powerful and inspiring.

Kids Play Foundation distributed $2,800 in scholarships for the children that attended and thanked Rajesh Ansal, Bob Ibrahim and Arsh Samra for contributing additional scholarships at the event.

Kids Play say they believe in utilizing sports and educational forums to keep youth safe and off the streets.
