I’M asking people to make me their first choice to lead the BC Liberal party if they want a leader who is ready on the first day to take the fight to the NDP, to begin the renewal of our party, and to start working to win back the support we lost in the last election.
Other candidates are talking about needing change – but I am the only candidate with the experience and track record of delivering change.
I delivered on my commitments – getting a BC trade office established in Chandigarh, launching B.C.’s Masala Bonds (the first-ever foreign government issued bond in the Indian offshore market), and investing to expand our lumber trade with India.
I want the BC Liberals to be the first choice for people who want a grassroots party where local members not the leader choose the candidates to represent them.
I want the BC Liberals to be the first choice of people who want expand early childhood education so the next generation has a head start.
I want our party to be the first choice for people who are working hard to own a home.
I’m confident I’m the best candidate to lead the BC Liberal team that will renew our party and move it forward.
